Yeah, yeah I know its not high-def or 3-D but for the SNES this game rocked, and the 8-bit look is always sweet.

Gameplay: 10/10

Its a simple side-scrolling shooter/platformer. By the way its Metroid so its automatically good.

Story: 7/10

Do you want the Mother Brain to raise an army of metroids? We didn't think so. However, there is a major lack of explanation for anything that occurs outside of the intro and any information you may have acquired from the previous games.

Replayability: 10/10

Its a game where you will either try to:

1. Go without upgrades
2. Speed-run
3. Find everything

Innovation: 10/10

Metroid always means sweet gear. The creatures are even sweeter, especially in Maridia, the underwater section, but the original Metroids still take the cake.
