Don't worry that I'm reviewing this quite a while since its release I judge by the time the game released. Graphics:? 9/10 At the time the game was cutting edge graphics wise, but Halo never passed the gamey feel that Perfect Dark and Golden Eye had. And if you look at that time Morrowind came out, and Bethesda knows what they're doing in the graphics department. ?Story: 10/10 A shooter that tells a story with easy to digest bits. What tops aliens unleashing a horrible plague of . . . zombie-ish aliens? ?Campaign: 10/10 ?See Story, FunFactor, and Innovation. Innovation: 10/10 A great FPS alone Halo also delivered vehicle combat that was good. While the alien theme is the usual stuff?(Do elites remind anyone else of Alien? Just a little bit in the head), they did a great job inventing the species like grunts, hunters, jackals, and the Flood. The weapons were also new and interesting especially the needler. The vehicles also deserve a mention, mostly the Banshee because its my favorite. . . Until Halo 2 and lock-on rockets. FunFactor: 10/10 A great campaign will only occupy you for so long. Too bad they didn't make some of the best multiplayer on the XBox which would only be topped by its predecessor. The randomness of skulling people is sweet. But the action is fast paced, and varied in the many modes. OVERALL: 10/10
