Anyone who owns a computer has probably, if not played, at least heard of Civilizations. For all 3 of you who haven't, Civilization is a strategy game where you start as a humble little village, and expand to be the greatest power the world has ever seen. Civ Rev takes a new approach to the Civilization franchise, beings as it's the only Civ game for a new gen council. Although not quite as grand a scale as the PC Civ games, but it's worthy of it's Civilization title. Gameplay: 10/10 It's from the Civ series, they have had a decade to get the gameplay down, and it shows. Although it's a little strange on the council, it's still one of the best.
Sound: 9/10 The sound is quite good on this game, but the music can get slightly repetitive.
Replayability: 10/10 Near infinite.
Controls: 9/10 This is where the game gets shaky. The controls are solid, but you can tell the Civ games are used to PC controls. Anyone who is a fan of the series may have problems with the controls, but they are still quite good.
Functionality: 10/10 See Gameplay. Total: 9.5/10 Get this game. All strategy game fans with LOVE this game. It is very deserving of it's "Civilizations" title
