Premise: 10/10

I know it sounds weird at first but Civ is buen. You start off with one little city in the ancient era and the proceed to get technologies, armies, etc. Eventually you're in the Modern Era trying to build the Internet and Manhattan Project when someone declares war. Its turn based awesomeness with a dash of sweet. there are a lot of civilizations to choose from; America, China, Germany, Inca, Spain, and many more.?

Fun: 8/10

Its a game thats addictive but at the same time it can be slow. Especially when your playing a massive map in the Modern era and have thirty cities that finish something all on the same turn. It can become tedious easily.

Difficulty: 10/10

You can go from facing civilizations that get stuck in the ancient era to being a civilization stuck in the ancient era. At each notch of the difficulty the AI becomes just better enough to up the difficulty a fair amount.

Graphics: 4/10

The world view is meh. The graphics ry to be realistic but they're just too small in comparison to the screen to show off any. However the Palace view and city views are awesome. You can actually see what a city with every World Wonder would look like.

Realistic content: 9/10

Its a game with a history book baked inside. The "Civilopedia" has information on all of the game's Civilizations, Leaders, Wonders, Techs, Buildings, Resources, etc.? However some of the late game Wonders aren't buildings, i.e. The Theory of Evolution, but still have building counterparts. Some of them are o.k. but some are a little weirder.

?Expansions: 10/10

Play The World and Conquests are awesome. They add online play and a ton of custom maps and scenarios such as the Sengoku period of Japan, WWII, and the Dawn of Civilization. Get them if you have Civ III.

OVERALL: 9/10
Definite buy
