Story: 10/10

A girl who can go between the Modern Era and the Feudal Era of Japan learns she is the reincarnation of an ancient priestess and has the Jewel of Four Souls in her. After a demon removes this from her she inadvertently destroys it sending shards a flying. She must go with InuYasha to collect all of the pieces. Along the way the meet friends and foes, and thus the story grows.

Hearing about the story: 0/10

HOLY CRAP. I did not think it was possible to sum up six seasons worth of information for any show. InuYasha proved me startlingly wrong. Aside from the mini-sagas every episode re-hashes the entire story line. You could watch the last season alone and know the entire story, or at least the basics.

Animation: 10/10

The animation is great. Detailed backgrounds are a major feature. Trees, houses, far off town, and more all have details put into them. The foreground is good as well. It changes slightly with the mood too, and doesn't skimp out on battles.?

Audience: 7/10

The show is geared to teens down. The show has some elements that are good for older audiences but it doesn't have that much. It has the typical action and mini-romance stuff for teens, which is nice but overused.?

OVERALL: 8/10?
