The song sounds like it might have been written for the show.

Premise: 10/10

Giant Biomechanical robot battles. You could only watch the battles and walk away happy. However, if you stick around for the story and psychological breakdown I imagine you'll be happier. Everyone cracks under the pressure of being the only people capable of saving the world. While the show progresses you also see more of the OMGWTF moments.

Story: 9/10

You will probably need to just go with all lot of the story. Most of the show gets explained in later episodes but there are a lot of questions left. Genius or plot holes? We may never know, unless you ask someone who knows of course.

Action: 10/10

Giant Robots, Uber bombs, and sick battle scenes.

The End: ???/10

The Episodes: WTF? IF you watch the episode's ending you will probably get a headache. It is two episodes of psychological revelations from the writers. Imagine that trying to be pressed into a dream/mental breakdown/??? and the last scene of the series. If you understand what happened in the last two episodes please tell me.

Death/Rebirth: More understandable. Also there's some action in there. The movie ending is much better but there's a few scenes that could and should have been omitted. If you have seen the movie you know exactly what I'm talking about. However the ending still leaves a lot of questions.
