2 Fast 2 Furious, the sequel to "The Fast And The Furious", picks up (kinda) where the first one left off. Brian heads to Miami from LA and starts racing there when the Feds come and ask him for help in taking down a drug dealer. The series started off well, and then this movie kinda stalled it. The film has its good parts, but the plot is somewhat dull and the lack of Vin Diesel definitely doesn't help. Tyrese Gibson is funny as Roman Pearce, Brian's ex-con pal, but is no replacement for Dominic Toretto, who doesn't need one-liners or comic relief to win an audience.

Final Word: This movie single-handedly had a lot of hype, but was overall a disappointment. I would recommend it for serious fans of the series only.
