Once again it's Robert Langodn vs. ________________ which starkly resembles a Medieval/Egyptian/Catholic cult/order. In this case Dan Brown tackles the Freemasons head on, but wait there's more! The obnoxious yet intertwined government agency doesn't want a professor unveiling all of their secrets, in this case the CIA. On an adventure through Washington D.C. Robert must follow cryptic clues hidden in plain sight to follow an apparently insane murderer with a chick as the professor's assistant. Through out the plot I am comforted by how easy it truly is to escape from the CIA's clutches and do whatever in the hell you want to. If you were a fan of The da Vinci Code or Angels and Demons I am willing to bet that The Lost Symbol is for you.
