The Dresden files is a series of books (like 12, or something) and was also a show on Sci-Fi. It's quite a good series, with many plot twists and such. The series follows a wizard in Chicago. The books are funny, plus the action is awesome. They keep you reading into the wee hours of the night.

Wizard in Chicago. It's get much more awesome then that however. (I wont ruin it)

The books are writen great. They really draw you in.
